UQ Centre for Medical Education

An existing suite of seminar rooms has been transformed into an open plan office and support facilities for the Centre for Medical Education. The project set out to provide a flexible work environment combining open plan workstations, individual offices, meeting room and a flexible utilities/break out space. A high level of transparency creates a spacious feel and the lighting design provides definition and visual brightness. Work areas have a high level of indirect lighting to minimise screen distraction and reflectance. Careful selection of materials and fittings has resulted in a high level of amenity to create a sense of impact and identity.
