With over 30 years’ industry experience, Nick has a strong portfolio of work for institutional building owners who have high expectations of buildings functionality, longevity and value. He is particularly experienced with government owned infrastructure that forms the basis for the delivery of services to the public: corrections, youth detention, ambulance, fire, police, emergency services, education, and the judiciary.
Nick takes an active role across all stages of a project with a broad range of architectural skills, from pre-design, to design, documentation and contract administration processes through construction.
He has a particular interest in project processes, and the early briefing and concept stages of a project. Nick believes that understanding the broad parameters of a project at the outset will create the environment for a successful building outcome. Allied to this interest is his delivery of a range of supportive elements to the delivery of architectural service: such as the creation of new client technical standards, preliminary feasibility and predesign reporting, and undertaking physical testing and evaluations of materials in specialised building applications.
In the recent post-covid period, Nick has delivered a large body of diverse ambulance projects as PSC’s sector lead during a program of accelerated ambulance stations delivery.
Nick forms productive relationships with clients, colleagues, consultants and contractors to deliver positive project outcomes for our projects.
